What are we trying to do? All we want to do is prepare and serve local, fresh, seasonal,tasty food. We are also trying to introduce newer flavours into our country cuisine while at the same time honouring the traditional dishes of rural Tassie. We bake our own cakes,scones,desserts and pies and make our own frittatas, soups, curries and casseroles all to entice locals and travellers alike to stop in and try our wares. AS the name suggests we specialise in rhubarb and have a small deli with a selection of Tassie cheese, biscuits and gourmet food as well as Rhubru rhubarb products. We also provide a take away service for those who are in a hurry and on the road. Call in for a friendly chat, a good cup of coffee, an open fire over the cooler months and tasty food and a cold beer all year round!
