I was born and raised in Cairns,the heart of the Tropics of Far North Queensland.I have been passionate about playing the guitar since 8 years of age. The guitar is an instrument of versatility, unique sound and can be enjoyed whether you aspire to be a soloist or play as part of a band. I have spent endless hours exploring many facets of guitars, both electric and acoustic, gaining a range of skills and the ability to write and record music.Now, more than a decade since I first picked up a guitar, I now love to share my experiences and knowledge with other budding guitarists. I understand the passion that one can have for such an instrument and enjoy being there to foster that passion and assisting in a players development. I believe the real joy in music is being able to come up with your own tunes, so my main focus as a guitar teacher is on guiding students to create.
