Kate Egan holds a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences from Southern Cross University. She graduated in 2012 and has since been practicing osteopathy on the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, along with teaching osteopathic technique at SCU.Her passion for osteopathy stemmed from Kate’s many years of work in remedial massage. She is passionate about osteopathy and the continual learning that the profession provides, and has undertaken several post-graduate courses, including myofascial anatomy, osteopathy in the cranial field, and clinical diagnosis. This has enhanced Kate’s well-rounded approach to treatment and patient care. She has also worked in India in an osteopathic team alongside orthopaedic surgeons, introducing osteopathy to athletes and the general public in a hospital setting.Tailoring her treatment approach to the individual patient, Kate enjoys treating people of all ages. She utilises a broad spectrum of osteopathic techniques, including gentle soft tissue work, osteopathy in the cranial field, and spinal manipulation.
